How should I wash and care for my item?

Apparel (cotton and polyester) can be washed at home. Cotton items can be hand-washed or machine-washed in a laundry bag; polyester items can be machine-washed in a laundry bag. Leather, PVC and similar accessories should not be washed with water — wipe them with a dry, soft cloth, or clean them gently with a mild detergent.

So that your piece stays beautiful for years, we enclose a care card for the material with every order. The basic rules for our main materials are below.

Q. How should I wash clothing (T-shirts, pajama pants and so on)?

The recommended method depends on the material (cotton or polyester). In both cases, the key is to turn the garment inside out to protect the printed surface.

Cotton items (T-shirts and similar) Hand-wash by pressing, or turn inside out and machine-wash in a laundry bag. Please avoid bleach and never iron directly on the printed surface.
Polyester items (pajamas and similar) Turn inside out, place in a laundry bag and machine-wash. Fabric softener prevents static and improves how it feels to wear. Avoid the tumble dryer, and when ironing, avoid high heat and always use a pressing cloth.

Q. How should I care for leather (genuine cowhide)?

Avoid washing genuine cowhide with water; gentle everyday care is all it needs.

  • Storage:Keep away from excessive humidity, dryness and direct sunlight, in a place out of the sun.
  • Everyday care:If it gets dirty, wipe gently with a dry, soft cloth.
  • Please note:Avoid alcohol-based solvents, as they can dissolve the ink.

Q. How should I care for synthetic leather and PVC items?

PVC items, used for pouches and bags, also stay beautiful for years with the right care.

  • Everyday care:If a mark bothers you, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with diluted mild detergent, then wipe gently with water and dry.
  • Please note:Avoid places with sharp temperature changes and direct sunlight, and store out of the sun. Please also avoid alcohol-based solvents.
